Foster Parent Support Group
Our next Foster Parent Support Group is Wednesday, March 25th from 6-7pm. Our topic will be how to integrate a new foster child into your family. Child care will be provided. Hope to see you all there! The address is 830 West End CourtSuite 700Vernon Hills, IL 60061

Foster Parent Training Schedule and Foster Parent Support Groups.

April 30, 2009 Clinical Philosophy- Development ( must register with Erin) 6pm

May 28, 2009 - Clinical Philosophy - Systems ( must register with Erin) 6pm

Foster Parents Be Heard
On May 7, 2009, UCAN foster parents have the opportunity to participate in CCA Lobby Day. Below is a description of what would transpire. Please let Erin Ginn know if you are interested in participating on this day.
"We always like for legislators to meet the real foster parents, so if they go down, they'll get to meet their senator and/or rep, share a bit about what it's like being a foster parent, and share why they and their kids would benefit from our foster parents earning enough monthly to support their kids. Sharing how much of their own $ they spend on their kids monthly would be great too. Thanks!!"
