On May 7, 2009, UCAN foster parents have the opportunity to participate in CCA Lobby Day. Below is a description of what would transpire. Please let Erin Ginn know if you are interested in participating on this day.
"We always like for legislators to meet the real foster parents, so if they go down, they'll get to meet their senator and/or rep, share a bit about what it's like being a foster parent, and share why they and their kids would benefit from our foster parents earning enough monthly to support their kids. Sharing how much of their own $ they spend on their kids monthly would be great too. Thanks!!"
